Payment of Compensation Claims (Iraq-Kuwait war)

There has been regrettable delays in disbursing war compensation to the claimants. To speed up the process of war compensation disbursement, the Chairman of NRIWA had personally met the Prime Minister of India, the Special Kuwait Cell, UN Compensation Commission (UNCC), and the Permanent Mission of India in Geneva. The Association has also formed a separate branch to deal with this issue. In addition, a reputed firm of lawyers has been engaged in Geneva for on-the-spot follow-up and co-ordination with the UNCC. To expedite the Process of War Compensation Disbursement, NRIWA has liasoned with Various Government Authorities and Filed many Writs in Hon'ble High Court of Kerala. Details...
